Why Sports Physicals Are Important
Sports physicals are an essential part of participating in school sports in Kansas. The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) requires that student-athletes have a sports physical completed within the past calendar year in order to participate in school sports. Sports physicals are crucial for identifying any potential health issues that may put student-athletes at risk during physical activity, including underlying health conditions and injuries.
What to Expect During a Sports Physical at Midwest Muscle & Joint Clinic
At Midwest Muscle & Joint Clinic, we provide comprehensive sports physicals that assess a student-athlete's overall health and physical readiness for sports. Our team of chiropractors will review the student-athlete's medical history and perform a physical exam that includes an evaluation of the student-athlete's cardiovascular health, muscular strength and flexibility, and joint function.
Our sports physicals typically last about 30 minutes and are performed in a comfortable, private setting. Our medical professionals are experienced in working with student-athletes and understand the unique physical demands of sports.
